Synopsis
Every year there are thousands upon thousands of law-abiding Americans (and non-Americans) who submit to polygraph interrogations. And every year thousands upon thousands are falsely accused based on their polygraph chart. How would you like to be convicted of lying when, in fact, you were telling the truth? This happens all the time to people who are ill-prepared to take a polygraph exam.
"I don't know anything about lie detectors
other than they scare the hell out of people."
--Richard Nixon
This statement by President Nixon says it all. It is very natural to become nervous or even scared when you are told that a polygraph exam is requested of you. Many federal, state, and local employment positions require that you submit to this interrogation. People who are applying for law enforcement positions seem to be the number one candidates for these exams.
Remember, the polygraph examination that you will be taking should be deemed the most important examination of your life. Why would you not prepare for it?
The polygraph machine is not a lie detector. In fact, many truthful people who have taken the polygraph examination have been branded liars. The only reason that you are being asked to take a polygraph examination is in the hopes that the examiner will elicit admissions of guilt that you have previously not admitted to.
This manual is the first of its kind to take on these tactics and teach you, in a very short time, how to use these tactics to your advantage. In this manual you will learn that the polygraph exam has a built-in bias against truthful people and that it's not capable of telling if a person is lying or being deceptive. You will also learn all of the polygraph examiner's tricks and how to avoid these tricks so that you will always produce a truthful chart.
