Synopsis
The questions will be of multiple choice type and are designed to test your
capacity to learn the work of a Fireman. It may include questions on understanding
of job information, reasoning and problem solving, dealing with others, understanding
mechanical devices, and spatial orientation and visual memory.
Recall Diagram Questions
You are given a series of diagrams. You will have to look at these diagrams
and memorize what they are and what they say. A series of questions follow these
diagrams. Each question or incomplete statement is followed by several suggested
answers or completions. You will have to select the one that best answers the
question or completes the statement. There are numerous diagram tests throughout
the book that deal with memory, visual recall, and logic concerning the Firefighter

Incorrect Word Usage Questions
Each questions consists of a statement which contains one word that is incorrectly
used because it is not in keeping with the meaning that the statement is evidently
intended to convey. You have to determine which word is incorrectly used. All
questions are Firefighter related.
Grammar and Vocabulary Questions
These questions consist of sentences which may be correct or they may contain
errors in spelling, grammar, or punctuation. You have to choose if the sentence
is correct, or has any errors in spelling or punctuation.
Inclusive Questions
There are inclusive firefighter exam questions, you have to relate the information
given in a paragraph and answer them in accordance with the information given.
Passage Questions
A Firefighter scenario followed by a series of questions that deal with that
scenario. There are many questions throughout the book that has a scenario passage
