Synopsis
Diagram Questions
You are given a diagram. Then each question or incomplete statement is followed
by several suggested answers or completions. You will have to select the one
that best answers the question or completes the statement. There are numerous
diagram tests throughout the book that deal with memory, visual recall, and
logic, which correlates with an actual firefighter exam.
Inclusive Questions
There are inclusive firefighter exam questions, you have to relate the information
given in a paragraph and answer them in accordance with the information given.
Passage Questions
A firefighter scenario followed by a series of questions that deal with that
scenario. There are many questions throughout the book that have a scenario passage
that deals with some type of firefighter scenario followed by a series of questions.
Grammar and Vocabulary Questions
These questions consist of sentences which may be correct or they may contain
errors in spelling, grammar, or punctuation. You have to choose if the sentence
is correct, or has any errors in spelling or punctuation.
Best Answer Questions
There are many firefighter exam scenarios with incomplete statements followed
by several suggested answers or completions. You have to pick the BEST answer
that completes the statement. All incomplete statements are firefighter related.
Situational Judgment Questions
These questions test your judgment in situations that a firefighter might meet
on the job. You read the questions or statements. Each question or statement
is followed by four choices. For each question, you have to choose the one best
answer.
Firefighter Problem Questions
These problem questions present problem situations in which firefighters have
to deal with other people. You read the problem, study the answer choices, and
pick the one that you think would best solve the problem.
